Arunita Kanjilal was born on 18 January 2003 in Kolkata, West Bengal. She finished her tutoring from St. Xavier’s School, Kolkata. Arunita began preparing in traditional preparation from the age of four.

Her underlying master was her maternal uncle and later got further preparation from Ravindra Ganguly of Pune.

Arunita showed up in the Zee Bangla show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs in 2013 as a competitor and wound up winning the show.

The next year, she was found in the public unscripted TV drama, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs which circulated on Zee TV.
